I may not get much credit for the mention of this months SEO Master. Anyone that knows a thing or two about SEO has undoubtedly heard of the incumbent leader in the SEO industry - head of SEOMoz and for being in the A-List for the SEO industry ... a pretty nice guy. Now, I haven't personally had the opportunity to meet Rand ... But, from what I see from his on-line presence, it's pretty easy to see that he's good with PR at the least ;) ... There's way too much to say about all that Rand and his following over at SEOMoz contribute to the industry ... and with that (and since I'm a bit lazy too ... ) I let you be the judge ... go to SEOMoz and you be the judge ...

I don't know if there is anyone that deserves the SEO Master status more than Eric Enge ... Eric has written more solid articles on SEO than almost anyone else. Moreover, Eric consistently produces pod casts and interviews from some of the top names in the industry. I haven't updated the SEO Master in a while so I figured that I should start off 09' with one of my favorite bloggers, SEO's, and SMO's ... Shana Albert. If you haven't had a chance to see what makes Shana an "SEO Master" ... For those that are relatively new to SEO, it can be very difficult to understand the hidden methods and techniques that are used by pro SEO's. Eli from bluehatseo.com, tells all the tricks of the trade and has no problem letting everyone know about his SEO strategy.

Granted, the secrets he gives away don't generally last too long once he reveals them to the public, but he shares what he knows freely and generates a great deal of traffic in doing so.

For all his efforts and excellent demonstrations, I nominate Eli as a featured SEO Master.

The Search Marketing Expo is going to be in New York from October 6th to the 8th at the Jacob Javits Convention Center.

From what was posted on the SMX site, there will be more than 50 different training sessions available for every level of skill in search marketing. To take a look at the line-up of events, take a look at the agenda on the SMX site ... [SMX Agenda].

There will also be two impressive keynote speakers at the event. Tim Armstrong from Google and Bill Tancer of "Click", are going to let us in on their take on what's to become of the search marketing industry.
